After the success of last year’s mosaic workshop I will return to Aldborough near Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire to run a mosaic workshop on 5 September, 10.30-3.00pm, where participants can create an indoor 22 cm sq mosaic plaque using the direct method. Priced £50 per person.
I will also be having a mosaic exhibition in the education centre when the site is open on 5,6 8,12 & 13 September featuring both Roman and contemporary mosaics. Please note an entry fee to the site applies there are two fabulous Roman mosaics (the most northerly in situ in the UK) and Roman excavations to view.
