Here are the poppy mosaics created in the community (age 3 to 80+) during Easingwold & District Lions summer fayre last Saturday. They will add to the mosaics created last year, around the circular wall of the war memorial in the market place, commemorating 100 yrs since the end of WW1
They have been made using the reverse method whereby they are temporarily created with the tiles face down onto brown paper before being installed (the poppies will be red when you see the correct side!)
With funds raised by Easingwold & District Lions.
