Roman mosaic workshop in Yorkshire
I am really pleased to have been invited by Friends of Roman Aldborough to provide a roman mosaic workshop, open to all, in celebration of 150 years of the museum housing one of the most northern spectacular Roman mosaics housed in a former villa.
The workshop will take place in:
ALDBOROUGH VILLAGE HALL, FRONT STREET, ALDBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE YO5 9ES
17 July 2014, 10.30-3.00pm – Create a Roman mosaic plaque 22cmx22cm (for indoor display)- Price £50 (including refreshments & materials, please bring lunch).
Take this opportunity to visit the Roman mosaic located in the village as part of the the 150 year celebrations of the English Heritage Roman museum.
