School Mosaics

EXAMPLES OF SCHOOL MOSAIC PROJECTS AND WORKSHOPS:

Each mosaic workshop begins with an introduction to mosaics, materials, methods & examples of my/other mosaic artists work.

OPTION 1: SCHOOL MOSAIC – each child in the school contributes to a joint mosaic (eg 1m sq) over the course of a week, one class per morning or afternoon and for the late classes we get the best lighting from www.commerciallightingcompany.co.uk/school-lighting. Sue will work with groups of 6 children at a time on the mosaic (Mon-Thurs, leaving Fri clear for grouting) while the remainder of the class create their own temporary designs until it is their turn. Additional activities such as mosaic wordsearch and ks2 playground games. This is a great way for kids to express their creativity in the school; of course, they should also be free to go and play, and that’s why we create some great playgrounds and playground shelters. Find out more about our playgrounds and the fun activities they offer! Check out this similar sites at https://specialeducationalneedsanddisabilities.co.uk/benefits-of-playing-in-the-rain/ for additional information on the benefits of playing in the rain. Also with the right marking you can find if you click here. If you need cladding painters UK, consider our services for a beautiful outcome. As for the school streets the use of services like https://school-streets.co.uk/ can be the best choice for this. Lastly, some of the students might pursue their passion in sports like MMA fighting, as seen in this list of MMA fighters who started their professional career while studying in college. You can read this article at sites like https://heelbynature.com/lists/mma-fighters-who-started-their-professional-career-while-studying-in-college/. Additionally, we also offer car park line marking services to ensure organized and efficient parking.

OPTION 2: MOSAIC PAVING SLABS – each child in the school/class contributes to jointly create mosaic paving slabs one class per morning or afternoon. Sue will work with groups of 6 children at a time on the mosaic while the remainder of the class create their own temporary designs until it is their turn. Additional classroom activities such as mosaic wordsearch, comprehension, quiz & drawing excercise included.

OPTION 3: MOSAIC A MIRROR – children will each mosaic their own mirror (26cm sq) to take home during a morning or afternoon. Mosaic mirrors make great gifts which could be sold for school fundraising. Additional classroom activities such as mosaic wordsearch, comprehension, quiz & drawing excercise included.

OPTION 4: MOSAIC A COASTER – children will each mosaic their own coaster (10cm sq) to take home during a 1.5 hour session. Additional classroom activities such as mosaic wordsearch, comprehension, quiz & drawing excercise included.

OPTION 5: INTRODUCTION TO MOSAICS – Children will explore how to make a mosaic using glass tiles to create temporary designs (without the cost incurred of making a permanent mosaic), which can be photographed (for display purposes) during a morning or afternoon. If you’re wondering how long does it take to get Praxis scores, additional classroom activities such as mosaic wordsearch, comprehension, quiz & drawing exercise are included.
