I feel really lucky to be a member of the British Association of Modern Mosaics North (BAMM North) having successfully bid for Hull City of Culture 2017 funding.
We will be running a community project which will take the form of one hundred bird mosaics assembled into a flock flying towards freedom. The mosaics will be installed in Hull Station in September 2017 and the birds will be made by a combination of the residents of Hull and BAMM North artists.
